At Benton Junior College we provide a wide range of educational opportunities for our all students.  High academic expectations in Literacy and Numeracy underpin our learning practice.  Our extra-curricular specialist programs include Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Japanese and ICT.  In addition to these programs we support and extend our students through engaging Units of Inquiry.  At BJC we treat each student as an individual and ensure that their specific educational needs are met.

 

Benton Junior College is an International Baccalaureate School providing the Primary Years Program (PYP).  At BJC we aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people, and to this end we consider ourselves a community of learners. Our outstanding facilities, including a full size gymnasium and Performing Arts Centre, allow us to run extensive Physical Education and Performing Arts Programs.  Students at BJC have opportunities to learn musical instruments and perform in school bands.  Camps from Year 3 onwards including Ski and Music Camps provide wonderful learning experiences for all our students.
